My first experience of using Fabriano Classico Hot Pressed Watercolour Paper. I really enjoyed creating this piece but my light touch with the pencils meant that when I scanned it in, it became very bleached out so I had to photograph it with my iPad which made the white of the paper look cream and not the bright white it is.

The paper is 300gsm and the surface is nice and smooth but it would be better for my portrait art if I could have the same surface in a colour toned paper.
